The Moroccan Agency of International Cooperation (AMCI) has announced scholarships for Pakistani students to pursue higher education in Morocco’s Public Institutions for the 2024-2025 academic year. Scholarship Coverage
The Moroccan Government scholarship does not cover registration fees, accommodation, transportation, and other expenses, which are the student’s responsibility. The scholarship provides:
- A monthly stipend of 750 Dirham (approximately US $75).
- Support for thesis printing costs for Master and PhD graduates upon submission of necessary documents to AMCI.
Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for this scholarship, applicants must:
- Be a Pakistani or AJK national and a permanent resident of Pakistan or AJK. Dual nationality holders are not eligible.
- Provide valid HAT or USAT test scores. Visit the Education Testing Council website for more details if you don’t have these scores.
- Have completed 12 years of education (FSC/A-level) for undergraduate programs, 16 years for Master’s programs, and 18 years for PhD programs in relevant fields. The maximum age for undergraduate applicants is 23 years.
- Meet any additional requirements set by the Moroccan university you wish to attend.

The scholarship is available for the following fields:
- Medical Studies
- Paramedical Science
- Commercial and Management Science
- Engineering and Technological Science
- Agronomic and Veterinary Science
- Architecture
Teaching Language
- French: Primary language for scientific, technical, and economic sectors. Candidates admitted must undergo a French language refresher course during the academic year 2024/2025.
- Arabic: Courses in Arabic Language and Literature and Islamic Studies.
- Legal Science: Taught in either Arabic or French, based on the candidate’s choice.

Required Documents for Shortlisted Candidates
Prepare the following documents for submission if shortlisted:
- Signed copy of the HEC application form.
- Attested copies of all educational documents.
- Copy of CNIC.
- Letter of motivation.
- Documents certifying outstanding educational performances and involvement in extracurricular and volunteering activities.
- Letter of recommendation.
- For PhD applicants: Master’s degree dissertation/thesis and doctoral thesis proposal.
- Non-criminal Record (Police Clearance Certificate).
- Medical certificate confirming satisfactory health condition.
- No Objection Certificate (NOC) from the employer, if employed.
