The Helmholtz Institute Erlangen-Nuremberg for Renewable Energies (HI ERN) invites applications for a PhD Scholarship in New Synthesis Processes and Production of Polymers and Membranes for PEM Fuel Cells and Electrolyzers (f/m/d). Eligibility
- Required Degree: Master’s degree in Chemistry or Materials Science.
- Specialization: Synthetic and analytical polymer chemistry, membrane technology, and knowledge of alkaline solid electrolyte polymers are highly desirable.
- Skills:
- Strong motivation to complete the PhD within three years.
- Proficiency in English (written and spoken).
- Initiative, discipline, and excellent teamwork abilities.
Responsibilities
- Synthesis and analysis of proton-conducting solid electrolyte polymers.
- Production and characterization of membranes for fuel cells and electrolyzers.
- Dissemination of research outcomes through publications and conferences.
