Taiwan Government Scholarships 2024 by MOE for International Students

Ministry of education in Taiwan announced fully funded scholarships 2024 for BS, MS, and Phd admissions in their public sector Taiwanese Universities for international students where if you manage to get admission then you will receive a monthly stipend of over NT$25,000.

If you win this Taiwan government scholarship for your bachelors/masters/Phd degree studies at Taiwanese university then your tuition fees of up to NTD 40k, medical expenses, and residential fees expenses will all be covered whereas bachelors students will also receive NTD 15k stipend, MS/Phd students may receive stipend money of about NTD20k.

Duration of MOE Taiwan scholarships

I just verified that Taiwan scholarships by their MOE are being offered to undergrad students for a duration of up to 4 years whereas master students will be offered these Taiwanese scholarships for up to 2 years and doctoral degree students will enjoy this Taiwanese scholarship for up to 4 years however all of these students will be required to pass annual review of scholarship to get funding for next year.

How to Apply for Taiwan Gov Scholarship?

Now let me guide you on how you can submit your application to get considered for Taiwan government scholarship sponsored by their ministry of education and for that you need to apply for admission directly at Taiwanese government universities which are listed below;

I must mention that admission requirements for your chosen degree/subject and application deadline would be different for each of these Taiwanese universities but with that you would still need to have some common application documents ready such as 2 recommendation letters, research proposal/study plan, your previous transcripts/degrees, MOE scholarship application form, passport, and language proficiency certificate.

You can actually apply for admission in all of these Taiwanese universities on MOE or MOFA scholarships and if you got selected by multiple universities then you will have to select one of those scholarship/admission offers and have to fly to Taiwan in September to complete your enrollment to start your classes.
