To be eligible for this prestigious fellowship, you must:
- Identify as a Status Indian, Non-Status Indian, Inuit, or Métis.
- Be a Canadian citizen or permanent resident.
- Be pursuing full-time undergraduate studies for your first bachelor’s degree or diploma.
- Be enrolled in an engineering or technology discipline related to Telesat’s operations.
- Be willing to relocate for the paid internship to one of Telesat’s sites in Calgary, Winnipeg, Montreal, Iqaluit, Allan Park (ON), Gatineau, or the headquarters in Ottawa.
- Maintain a minimum cumulative average of 70% (or equivalent) across your last three terms of study.
