University of Nebraska Presidential Scholarship 2025

If you’re a high school senior with a strong academic track record, here’s an opportunity you won’t want to miss! The University of Nebraska offers its highly sought-after Presidential Scholars Program to recognize and support top-performing students. Open to applicants who have achieved an ACT Composite score of 32-35 or SAT equivalent of 1420-1560, this scholarship provides significant financial support and academic recognition. However, competition is fierce, and only a limited number of awards are available.

Who Can Apply?

The program is geared towards Nebraska residents entering a University of Nebraska campus as a first-time freshman (transfer students are not eligible). To be considered, students must also have:

  • Applied and been admitted to a University of Nebraska campus.
  • Submitted an official ACT Composite score between 32 and 35 or an SAT score within the specified range. Note that superscores are not accepted.

Key Dates to Remember

  • Application Window: November 1st through January 1st, 2025.
  • Notification: Selected students will be notified in February, 2025 after the application review process in January.

How to Apply?

  1. Determine Your Eligibility: Make sure you meet all the criteria, including residency, test scores, and first-time freshman status.
  2. Apply to the University of Nebraska: https://nebraska.edu/presidential-scholars/application
  3. Submit Official ACT/SAT Scores: Your scores must be sent directly to your preferred campus.
  4. Complete the Presidential Scholars Application: This application is available between November 1st and January 1st on the University of Nebraska’s scholarship page.

Once submitted, you should receive a confirmation email indicating that your application has been successfully received.
