US Visa Waiver Program Major Update (November 2024)

Big news for international travelers! The U.S. Visa Waiver Program (VWP) just got a little bigger with the addition of Qatar. As of December 1st, 2024, Qatari citizens can swap visa applications for online authorizations and jet off to the U.S. for business or leisure trips up to 90 days.

What’s the US VWP?

• Fee Time: There’s a small fee to process your ESTA application.
• Approval (Fingers Crossed!): Most applications are approved quickly, but it can take up to 72 hours.
• Ready for Takeoff! Once approved, you’re good to go!

• 90 Days Max: Enjoy your stay, but remember it’s limited to 90 days.
• Tourism or Business Only: No working allowed under the VWP.
• Return Ticket Required: Make sure you have a return ticket or proof of onward travel.
