What Does YLP Offer?

YLP offers five specialized one-year Master’s programs conducted in English, designed to equip international students with the knowledge and skills necessary for leadership roles:

YLP Scholarship Sponsorship Amount and benefits

  • Monthly Allowance: Scholars receive 242,000 JPY per month.
  • Educational Fees: Full exemption from tuition, matriculation, and entrance examination fees.
  • Travel Costs: Round-trip airfare from your home country to Japan is provided.

How to Clear Eligibility Criteria Bar?

To clear the eligibility bar, applicants must meet the following criteria:

  1. Citizenship: Must be citizens of eligible countries.
  2. Age: Must be below 40 years old as of the start date of the course.
  3. Work Experience:
    • Government and Local Governance: Minimum of 3 years (preferably 5) in public administration.
    • Business Administration: At least 2 years of full-time work experience.
    • Law: At least 4 years in a legal profession.
    • Healthcare Administration: At least 3 years in the healthcare sector.
  4. Language Proficiency:
    • Business Administration: TOEFL-iBT 100, TOEFL-PBT 600, TOEFL-CBT 250, IELTS 7.0 or equivalent.
    • Other Courses: TOEFL-iBT 80, IELTS 6.0 or equivalent.
