Who Can Apply for World Energy Forum?
The forum aims to welcome over 7,000 international energy stakeholders. It is particularly focused on inclusivity, inviting 250 delegates from developing countries. This initiative is part of a concerted effort to foster a diverse and productive dialogue on global energy challenges and solutions.
The theme of World Energy Forum 2024
The theme for 2024 is “Redesigning Energy for People and Planet.” The Congress will explore the role of connected energy societies in advancing global energy transitions in today’s unpredictable and rapidly evolving world. Participants can expect to engage in leadership dialogues, innovative thinking, and over 60 sessions. The event will provide a rich mix of experiences, with more than 100 exhibitors across 30,000 sqm. of exhibition space.
Benefits for Delegates from Developing Countries
Delegates from developing countries selected for the World Energy Congress 2024 in the Netherlands will benefit from a well-rounded support package. This includes partial reimbursement of expenses up to €750 to cover costs such as flights and visas.
In addition, attendees will be provided with complimentary hotel accommodation for a duration of up to five nights. Furthermore, each delegate will receive a free pass to the Congress, which is valued at approximately €4,000, enhancing the overall experience and accessibility of the event for these international participants.
Eligibility and Application Process
The World Energy Forum 2024 invites online applications from applicants of a range of developing countries. Interested applicants need to provide a copy of their passport and proof of residency or occupational status.
Upon acceptance, applicants will receive an email with a registration link and code. After successful registration and acceptance, a Service Manager from the team of 26th World energy forum will assist you with visa, travel, and accommodation arrangements. Travel discounts from partnering airlines are also available for the participants of the World Energy Forum and partial compensation will be reimbursed post-attendance.
