Scholarship Details
The BI Presidential Scholarship is open to applicants with outstanding academic records who are admitted to any MSc programme at BI Norwegian Business School’s Oslo or Bergen campuses.
- For Norwegian and International Applicants (residents of Norway): The scholarship covers full tuition fees for each semester (up to two years), provided the student maintains academic progression.
- For Sivøk Applicants: It covers full tuition fees for each semester (up to two years) under the same academic conditions.
- For International Applicants (non-residents of Norway): The scholarship provides full tuition fees and a stipend for living expenses. However, this stipend covers approximately 70% of living costs.
Who Can Apply?
To be eligible for the BI Presidential Scholarship 2025, you must meet the following criteria:
- Academic Performance: You need a minimum overall GPA of ‘A’ on the ECTS scale (or equivalent top-level grades in international grading systems).
- Sivøk Programme Students: 3rd-year students in the Sivøk programme are eligible.
- Norwegian and International Applicants: You must hold Norwegian, EU/EEA, or Swiss citizenship. International applicants residing in Norway from outside the EU/EEA may also be eligible based on residency status.
- Bachelor Graduates in Norway: International applicants who completed their bachelor’s degree in Norway without taking a break in their studies can apply.
- Admission Requirements: You must be admitted to an MSc programme at BI Norwegian Business School, excluding the BI-Luiss Joint Masters in Marketing.

Applying for the BI Presidential Scholarship is a straightforward process. Here’s how to ensure your application is considered:

- Scholarship Application Letter: Submit a maximum one-page letter outlining why you should receive the scholarship. The scholarship is awarded based on academic merit, not financial need.
- Complete Application: Ensure that you include all required documents for your MSc admission. Your scholarship application will only be reviewed if your admission application is complete.
- For Sivøk Students: If you are a 3rd-year student in the Sivøk programme, email your scholarship application letter to [email protected] with the subject: “BI Presidential Scholarship Application.”
- Additional Consideration: International applicants will also be considered for the MSc International Scholarship—no separate application letter required.
Application Deadline
- For International and Domestic Applicants: Your scholarship application must be uploaded to the online portal by March 1, 2025.
- For Sivøk 3rd Year Students: You must email your scholarship application letter to [email protected] by March 1, 2025.
