Euraxess Scholarship in France (MS, PhD) Deadline January 8, 2025
Paris, France – The French Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs has announced that applications are now open for the Euraxess Scholarship in France for MS, and PhD 2025, aimed at drawing the brightest international minds to pursue higher education in France. The scholarship provides financial support for Master’s and PhD candidates in selected fields, allowing them to immerse themselves in world-class academic programs at French institutions.

Who Can Apply?
The scholarship is open to students from all countries except France. However, applicants with dual nationality, including French, are not eligible.
For the Master’s level, candidates must be up to 27 years old and should not currently be studying in France. Scholarships for master’s programs span 12 to 36 months.
For the PhD level, the programme is open to candidates up to 32 years old, including those from both developing and industrialized nations. Priority will be given to candidates studying abroad rather than those already residing in France. PhD scholarships range from 12 to 36 months in duration.
Academic Fields Supported
The programme covers a range of disciplines divided into two main categories:
- Science and Technology: Biology and health, ecological transition, mathematics and numeracy, and engineering sciences.
- Humanities and Social Sciences: History, French language, and civilization, Law and political science, Economics and management.
What Does the Scholarship Offer?
Recipients of the Eiffel Excellence Scholarship will enjoy significant financial benefits, which include:
- A monthly living allowance of EUR 1,181 for master’s students and EUR 1,800 for doctoral students, supplemented by direct payment for various services.
- Coverage of registration fees.
- Travel and transportation costs, including a one-way trip to France and a final return trip upon completion of studies.
How to Apply?
The application process begins with candidates choosing a French higher education institution that suits their academic goals. Once candidates submit their applications to their chosen institutions, the universities will forward the selected proposals to the Ministry. The final submission deadline for institutions is 8 January 2025, but applicants should confirm individual university deadlines to ensure timely submission.
