The KIT Royal Tropical Institute (KIT) in the Netherlands has announced an inspiring opportunity for global changemakers in public health — the KIT Fund Scholarships 2026-2027. These scholarships aim to empower passionate health professionals from low- and middle-income countries to pursue the prestigious Master of Public Health and Health Equity program.
The KIT Fund operates with a clear mission: to ensure that healthcare leaders from resource-constrained settings can gain world-class education and return home equipped to improve public health systems, promote equity, and uplift vulnerable communities worldwide.
Why the KIT Fund Matters?
Every year, the KIT Fund opens doors for outstanding professionals who would otherwise face financial barriers to study in Europe. This initiative is sustained through generous donations from foundations, organizations, alumni, and individual donors committed to global health improvement.
While most awards are partial scholarships, covering significant portions of the tuition fee, a limited number of full scholarships are also available each year. These full awards typically prioritize candidates from fragile states, specific regions such as Indonesia, or those specializing in Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights (SRHR).
