Students planning for 2028 also face an important change: UNSW will replace its present academic calendar with a new Flex-Semester structure.

Which UNSW Scholarships Can International Students Target?
The headline opportunity is the International Scientia Coursework Scholarship. Successful applicants receive either full tuition-fee coverage or A$20,000 per year toward tuition fees for the minimum duration of their programme.
The same Term 1, 2027 international scholarship application can also place eligible students under consideration for several other awards:
- UNSW Law & Justice International Award: A$10,000 toward tuition fees for one year.
- UNSW Business School International Pathways Award: A$15,000 toward tuition fees for one year.

Can You Apply for Scholarships at UNSW?

A conditional offer may be accepted only where the remaining conditions do not concern English proficiency or the Genuine Student requirement. An approved UNSW English package offer may also qualify if the applicant enrolls in and successfully completes the required UEEC programme.

For students beginning in 2027, the transition may change the sequencing and estimated completion time of certain degrees. However, UNSW confirms that programme requirements, academic standards, learning outcomes, total Units of Credit and final qualifications will remain unchanged.
