01 Which UBE master’s could match your ambitions?

UBE offers English-taught options alongside French-taught programmes in Eiffel’s eligible fields. These English-taught examples provide starting points; coordinator approval determines whether your proposed application can proceed.

02 Can UBE nominate you for Eiffel?

For master’s funding, you must be born after 31 March 1997 and must not already be studying in France. French nationality excludes applicants, including dual French nationals. Holding another French-government scholarship also makes you ineligible under the stated rules.

Your degree background and language evidence must satisfy the chosen course. English-taught programmes have their own requirements; French-taught courses can require B2, C1 or C2. Our Eiffel eligibility and nomination guide explains the wider selection framework.

03 What support comes with an Eiffel award?

Master’s recipients receive €1,200 monthly, with support for international and domestic travel, insurance and finding accommodation. Funding lasts up to 24 months for M1 entry or 12 months for M2 entry.

Eiffel does not pay training fees. Government-scholarship status provides a statutory registration-fee exemption for qualifying national degrees at public institutions; additional charges require clarification. Housing assistance does not mean free accommodation. I would establish your remaining costs before accepting.

04 Secure coordinator approval, then submit through UBE

UBE’s International Office submits your Eiffel nomination; you cannot apply directly to Campus France.

  1. Choose the course. Use UBE’s English-taught programme directory and read the official Eiffel 2027 application guide.
  2. Email the programme coordinator. Explain your study plans and Eiffel interest, and request assessment requirements. Prepare a CV, motivation letter, transcripts and diplomas as requested. Math4Phys specifically requests a CV, academic transcript and motivation letter at [email protected]; its programme page gives the earlier pre-selection cutoff.
  3. Forward positive approval. Send the coordinator’s approval to [email protected]. Under the UBE Eiffel procedure, the International Office then provides the submission link and final document list.
  4. Complete the dossier. Upload the requested evidence by UBE’s deadline. I recommend preparing your academic record and career plan early; our Eiffel document checklist helps organise the evidence.
  5. Complete degree admission separately. Follow UBE’s international admission instructions or French-taught admission guidance. The English admission page still displays previous-cycle course calendars; do not reuse those dates for 2027.

The national Eiffel regulations define award benefits and obligations.

05 Avoid losing your nomination opportunity

Do not wait for the central deadline before contacting a coordinator. Do not treat coordinator approval as a scholarship award, skip degree admission, or allow more than one institution to submit your Eiffel nomination.

06 Questions before you contact UBE

Can I apply for a PhD through the master’s email?

No. UBE directs doctoral enquiries to [email protected]. The master’s procedure and deadline should not be assumed to govern doctoral applications.

Does nomination guarantee funding?

No. UBE supports and submits the application; the national Eiffel selection determines awards. Keep admission and financial planning moving while awaiting results.

Is IELTS waived for everyone?

No university-wide IELTS waiver is announced in this call. Follow the language requirements of the specific master’s you select.
