Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for the SI Scholarship for Global Professionals, you must meet the following criteria:
- Country of Citizenship: You must be a citizen of one of the 41 eligible countries. Residency in the country at the time of application is not required.
- Master’s Programme: Apply for an eligible master’s programme at a Swedish university. Over 700 English-taught programmes are available.
- University Admissions: You must be liable to pay tuition fees in Sweden and be admitted to an eligible programme by the time of the admissions announcement.
- Work Experience: A minimum of 3,000 hours of work experience is required (except for certain regions where no specific hours are required). This experience can be accumulated across multiple employers.
- Leadership Experience: Demonstrate leadership experience through your work or civil society engagement.
Application Process
The application process for the SI Scholarship is structured in the following stages:
- October 2024 – January 2025: Apply to eligible Swedish master’s programmes through the University Admissions portal.
- November 2024: SI Scholarship application documents will be published on the official website.
