The International Visegrad Fund (IVF), headquartered in Bratislava, is once again opening doors to international students, NGOs, institutions, and creative minds around the world through its Visegrad Grants, Visegrad+ Grants, and Strategic Grants. Established by the four member states of the Visegrad Group—Czech Republic, Hungary, Poland, and Slovakia—this funding program is your golden ticket to create a powerful impact across borders.

Visegrad Grants

- Who can apply? NGOs, public institutions, municipalities, private companies, non-profit orgs, and universities.
- Scope: Projects must involve at least 3 V4 countries or 2 border-region partners within 40 km of each other.
- Themes: Choose from 7 focus areas including culture, science, education, youth exchange, and tourism.
- Funding: Up to 100% of project budget (15% allowed for overheads).
- Duration: Max 18 months.
Visegrad+ Grants

- Who can apply? Partnerships between at least 3 V4 countries and 1 partner from the Eastern Partnership (EaP) or Western Balkans.
- Goal: Support democratization and transformation in non-EU countries.
- Funding: Up to 100% of budget, 15% allowed for overheads.
- Duration: Max 18 months.
- Focus Area: Must align with one of the 7 key focus areas of the program.
Strategic Grants

- Who can apply? Projects involving all 4 V4 countries.
- Goal: Address annual strategic priorities as set by the V4 rotating presidency.
- Funding: Full coverage up to 100% of project cost (including 15% overheads).
- Duration: 12 to 36 months.
- Theme: Must match the strategic theme declared for the year.

All applications must be submitted electronically via the official IVF online application system https://msmt.gov.cz/eu-and-international-affairs/international-visegrad-fund, accessible 30 days before the deadline. You’ll need a valid email address to register and access your proposal.
