Kazakhstan Government Scholarships 2024 for International Students
The Kazakhstan Government Scholarships 2024, offered by the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan, are designed for international students, including ethnic Kazakhs without Kazakhstani citizenship, aiming to pursue Bachelor, Master, and PhD programs in Kazakhstan. This initiative provides 550 scholarships across various disciplines to foster academic growth and cultural exchange.
Kazakh Scholarship Allocation:
- Bachelor degree program: 490 scholarships
- Master degree program: 50 scholarships
- PhD degree program: 10 scholarships
Required Documents for Application Submission
Bachelor Degree Applicants:
- Identity document
- Document on previous education level with transcript and notarized translation (if applicable)
- Motivational essay
- Letter of recommendation
- Medical certificate for studying abroad
- Application form
- Letter of invitation from a Kazakhstan university (optional)
Master Degree Applicants:
- All documents required for the Bachelor degree
- Bachelor’s or specialist diploma with a minimum 3.0 GPA or equivalent
- Two letters of recommendation
- An international certificate proving proficiency in a foreign language (IELTS, TOEFL, etc.)
PhD Degree Applicants:
- All documents required for the Master degree
- Master’s or specialist diploma with a minimum 3.0 GPA or equivalent
- Substantiation of the dissertation research topic
