Korea National University of Arts (K-Arts) AMA+ Scholarships 2024
We are thrilled to announce that the Korea National University of Arts (K-Arts) is now accepting applications for the prestigious Art Major Asian Plus (AMA+) Scholarship Program for the 2025 academic year. This scholarship program, sponsored by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism of the Republic of Korea, is designed to support students from developing countries who possess artistic talents, facilitating their advanced studies at K-Arts. The AMA+ Scholarship aims to promote international educational exchanges and foster mutual friendship among countries.
Since its inception in 2005, the AMA+ Scholarship has benefited 358 students from 38 countries, helping them to become active contributors in the fields of arts, culture, and higher arts education both locally and internationally. We invite young talents from AMA+ eligible countries, who aim to lead in the art and cultural sectors, to seize this incredible opportunity.
Eligibility and Admission Requirements
The AMA+ Scholarship is open to applicants who, along with their parents, hold citizenship of OECD DAC recipient countries. Applicants must have completed or be on track to complete secondary education or a bachelor’s degree program before admission.
Proficiency in the Korean language is a requirement, as specified by each department. Additionally, applicants are expected to demonstrate their artistic talent, usually through portfolio submission, unless otherwise stated. Good health and the ability to study in Korea for the duration of the degree program are also prerequisites for all applicants.
Final grantees are expected to arrive in Korea and, unless exempt, participate in pre-entry Korean language training starting from September 2024 until the commencement of the 2025 Spring Semester on March 2nd, 2025.
