✅ Eligibility Criteria

  • Currently enrolled in an accredited college/university
  • Pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Tax, Accounting, Finance, International Business, or related fields
  • Graduation window: Aug 2026 – Sep 2027
  • GPA: Preferred 3.0 or above
  • U.S. work authorization preferred
  • Strong MS Office skills; knowledge of Power BI, Alteryx, or AI tools is a plus
  • Excellent communication and time management skills.

Intern’s Responsibilities

  • Prepare tax calculations, reconciliations, and reports for international assignments
  • Analyze payroll and compensation issues for expatriate employees

Internship 2: Audit Intern – Japanese Practice (Summer 2026)

Support KPMG’s Audit Services team in delivering high-quality financial audits, especially for Japanese clients or firms with Japan-based operations. Develop your understanding of audit analytics, technical standards, and accounting systems while strengthening your Japanese-English bilingual skills in a corporate setting.

✅ Eligibility Criteria

  • Pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s in Accountancy or similar
  • Must meet CPA licensure educational requirements before full-time employment
  • Graduation window: May 2026 – Sep 2027
  • GPA: Preferred 3.0 or above
  • Bilingual in Japanese and English (professional-level proficiency required)
  • Familiarity with Power BI, Alteryx, Python, or SQL preferred

Intern’s Responsibilities

  • Assist in audit documentation and testing of client financial controls
  • Participate in data-driven audit tasks using AI and data analytics tools

  • Travel may be required depending on client engagement

Salary & Benefits

  • California Salary Range: $74,000 – $85,000
