About the Programme

Established in 2015 to honor Lord Weidenfeld’s 95th birthday, the programme received a generous donation from André Hoffmann in 2017, doubling its funding and impact. It forms a part of the Oxford Graduate Scholarships initiative, which pairs university funding with contributions from donors like the Weidenfeld-Hoffmann Trust.

The scholarship provides:

  • 100% coverage of course fees.
  • A living grant of at least £19,237 annually for the duration of the course.
  • Access to the Leadership Programme, which includes philosophical discussions, business skills training, communication development, and mentorship, fostering a supportive community for personal and professional growth.

Additionally, the Weidenfeld-Hoffmann Trust partners with various organizations like the Hualan Education Group and Chevening to provide additional awards and support to scholars.
