Sichuan Agricultural University CSC Scholarships 2026 (High Level Postgrad Program)

If studying in China has been part of your long-term plan but finances have been the biggest obstacle, this opportunity could be the turning point. For the 2026 intake, Sichuan Agricultural University (SICAU) is offering international students a chance to study under the Chinese Government Scholarship (CSC), complemented by the Chengdu Government Scholarship for International Students from Sister Cities. Together, these schemes create a fully funded pathway to Bachelor’s, Master’s, and PhD programs in Chengdu—one of China’s most welcoming, student-oriented cities.

What Makes This Scholarship Exceptionally Attractive?

This scholarship combination is structured to remove financial stress from the entire study journey in China. Under the Chinese Government Scholarship, selected students receive full coverage of tuition fees, on-campus accommodation, a monthly living allowance, and comprehensive medical insurance throughout their period of study. In addition, the Chengdu Municipal Government provides annual financial support that varies according to the level of study, further strengthening the funding package.

PhD students receive RMB 30,000 per year for up to three years, while Master’s students are supported with RMB 25,000 per year for the same duration. Bachelor’s degree students are awarded RMB 20,000 per year for up to four years. Applicants enrolling in Chinese language programs receive a monthly allowance of RMB 1,000, with the total amount capped at RMB 10,000 for one academic year. The duration of each scholarship is fixed and strictly aligned with the official admission notice issued by Sichuan Agricultural University.

How to Apply Without Missing a Step?

The application process for this scholarship requires careful attention, as candidates must complete two separate but equally important online applications.

First, applicants must submit their Chinese Government Scholarship application through the official CSC portal, selecting Sichuan Agricultural University by using its designated agency number. After completing the CSC submission, applicants must also apply directly through Sichuan Agricultural University’s international student application system https://ic.sicau.edu.cn/info/1100/1670.htm, where they will upload all academic records, scholarship forms, and any required confirmation letters from sister cities in accordance with the admission notice.

Applicants are strongly encouraged to prepare all documents in advance and ensure that both applications are fully submitted, as incomplete or mismatched submissions can lead to automatic disqualification.

The application window for the Chinese Government Scholarship combined with the Chengdu Government Scholarship at Sichuan Agricultural University opens on December 1, 2025, and closes on March 15, 2026.
