The IMPACT Scholarship 2027 at University College London is officially open, offering up to £20,500 in financial support for applicants admitted to the university’s Online Master of Public Health (MPH) programme.

Unlike many merit-based awards that focus primarily on academic achievements, the IMPACT Scholarship is specifically designed to support individuals whose lived experiences of inequality have shaped their ambitions and commitment to improving population health outcomes. UCL will award up to two scholarships for the 2026/27 intake.

What Does the IMPACT Scholarship Cover?

The scholarship provides funding worth up to £20,500 per recipient. Successful applicants can use the award toward tuition fees for the UCL Online Master of Public Health programme. The scholarship is available for:

Modular-flexible learners

For part-time and modular-flexible study options, the scholarship amount will be applied on a pro-rata basis toward tuition fees.

Who Can Apply?

The IMPACT Scholarship is open to both domestic and international applicants. To be eligible, candidates must satisfy all of the following requirements:

Have lived experience of inequality
Meet the admission requirements for the UCL Online Master of Public Health (MPH)
Submit an admission application for the MPH programme beginning in the 2026/27 academic year

How Recipients Will Be Selected?

Each application will be independently reviewed and scored by two assessors. The highest-ranked candidates based on combined scores will receive the scholarship awards.

Application Deadline

The last date to apply for the IMPACT Scholarship offered by University College London is 30 June 2026 (11:59 PM BST). Applicants selected for the scholarship are expected to receive notification of results in early August 2026.
