The Airbus Global Graduate Programme 2027 is now accepting applications from recent graduates for paid permanent apprenticeship and studentship opportunities across engineering, digital technology, finance, procurement, supply chain and business operations.
International candidates can apply, but nationality, work-authorization, residency and security-clearance requirements vary between opportunities.
Is the Airbus Global Graduate Programme a Scholarship?
The Airbus Global Graduate Programme is a paid employment route, not a scholarship, studentship or unpaid internship. Successful applicants receive permanent Airbus employment contracts from their first day. The first 24 months operate as an accelerated development pathway involving practical work, training and professional mentoring.
Who Can Apply for the Airbus Graduate Programme 2027?
Applicants need a degree or equivalent qualification relevant to their chosen vacancy and no more than three years of applicable professional experience. They must already have graduated or be able to complete their qualification before the programme’s starting date.
The three-year limit covers relevant full-time professional employment undertaken after the graduating degree. Mandatory university internships, sandwich placements, apprenticeships, teaching-assistant positions and other student employment do not count toward this limit.
Airbus has not published a general age restriction. Nevertheless, some positions connected with defense, space, Eurodrone or government operations may require particular citizenship, dual-national status or continuous local residency to obtain security clearance.
What Salary and Benefits Will Graduates Receive?
Selected candidates receive a salary benchmarked against the relevant employment market and industry in their assigned country. Airbus does not publish one universal salary because compensation varies by location, position and business division.
Graduate employees may receive:

- Mentoring and support from Airbus managers.
- Annual residential training with the international graduate cohort.
- Possible national or international rotational placements.
National rotations may last three, six, nine or 12 months, while international rotations may run for three or six months. An international rotation is not guaranteed because placements depend on business requirements, project availability and the employee’s development needs.
Airbus does not promise universal accommodation, relocation funding or living-cost coverage. Applicants must check the benefits listed in their chosen vacancy.
Can International Applicants Receive Visa Sponsorship?
International graduates may apply, but visa and work-permit assistance depends on the country, position and local immigration rules. Airbus states that it tries to support successful candidates with work permits and associated expenses where possible.
However, Airbus cannot provide Skilled Worker visa sponsorship for Airbus Global Graduate Programme positions in the United Kingdom. Applicants for UK vacancies must possess an existing right to work or qualify through another route, such as the Graduate Visa or Youth Mobility Scheme.
This restriction applies specifically to UK AGGP positions and should not be treated as a worldwide refusal of visa support.
