The Arqus Talent Scholarship 2024 batch is a prestigious funding opportunity aimed at attracting talented international students to pursue their Master’s or Doctoral studies within the Arqus European University Alliance. The scholarship focuses on promoting academic mobility and intercultural exchange among its partner universities.

Key Features of the Scholarship

1# Partner Universities:
Eligible students can pursue their studies at one of the following Arqus partner universities: Granada, Graz, Leipzig, Lyon 1, Maynooth, Minho, Padua, Vilnius, and Wroclaw.

2# Financial Support:
The scholarship offers a monthly subsistence allowance of €1,400 to cover living costs, medical insurance, and materials. Additionally, tuition fees at the entrance university are fully covered.

3# Special Needs Fund:
An additional €250 per month is available for students with fewer opportunities, including refugees and asylum seekers, those with disabilities, chronic diseases, or caring responsibilities.

4# Mobility Requirement:
A unique aspect of the Arqus Talent Scholarship is the compulsory mobility period at a second Arqus partner university, promoting a broader educational and cultural experience.

Application Requirements

To apply, candidates must:

  • Provide confirmation of application or selection for a Master’s or Doctoral program at an Arqus university.
  • Submit a motivation statement, research proposal (for doctoral applicants), academic transcripts, and a CV.
  • Demonstrate language proficiency at a B2 level or higher.

Application Process and Deadlines

The application process includes submitting required documents and a motivation statement online. The next application period for Master’s students runs from April 2, 2024, to June 30, 2024 and at least 8 scholarships will be available during this call.

Successful candidates are expected to participate in Arqus activities and serve as ambassadors for the alliance. Scholarships are disbursed semi-annually, based on academic performance and progress.
