Doctoral Degree Programs

    • Type A: Covers tuition and accommodation fees, with an additional living stipend of CNY 5,000 (one-time).
    • Type B: Covers tuition and accommodation fees.

Master’s Degree Programs

    • Type A: Coverage of CNY 25,000.
    • Type B: Coverage of CNY 20,000.

Bachelor’s Degree Programs

    • Type A: Coverage of CNY 10,000 (first year only) for specific programs.
    • Type B: Coverage of CNY 10,000 per year for students from designated countries.

Accommodation Facility

JSU provides on-campus dormitories for international students, featuring double rooms with private bathrooms, air conditioning, and water heaters. Dormitory buildings are equipped with kitchens and common areas. Due to limited availability, accommodations are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.

Eligibility

  • Bachelor’s Degree Applicants: Non-Chinese citizens aged 18-25, with a high school diploma or equivalent. Applicants under 18 must provide a guardian’s guarantee.
  • Master’s Degree Applicants: Non-Chinese citizens under 30, holding a bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
  • Doctoral Degree Applicants: Non-Chinese citizens under 40, holding a master’s degree or equivalent.

  1. Application Method: Complete the online application at JSU Admission Portal (http://admission.ujs.edu.cn/) and pay a non-refundable application fee of CNY 200 and read details of JSU scholarship here (https://oec.ujs.edu.cn/en/SCHOLARSHIPS/JSU_Presidential_Scholarship.htm).
  2. Required Documents:
    • Scanned copy of the passport main page.
    • Original or notarized copies of high school/undergraduate/graduate certificates and transcripts.
    • English proficiency test scores (IELTS, TOEFL, Duolingo) for English-taught programs.
    • Personal statement of intent (800 words minimum).
    • Foreigner Physical Examination Form.
    • Financial statement.
    • Non-criminal record certificate.
    • Two recommendation letters (for Master’s and Ph.D. applicants).
    • List and abstracts of published academic papers (for Ph.D. applicants).
