International students holding an outstanding bachelor’s degree can target an £8,000 tuition discount for a taught master’s beginning at the University of Dundee on January 11, 2027. You do not submit a separate scholarship application: Dundee assesses you automatically from your course application and documents.

What Does the £8,000 Dundee-Postgrad Scholarship Cover?

The award reduces the tuition fee charged for your eligible master’s programme by £8,000. It is not a living stipend, travel grant or payment transferred directly to your bank account. You must therefore plan separately for the remaining tuition balance, accommodation, visa and Immigration Health Surcharge.

If an eligible course lasts longer than 12 months and charges a full eligible tuition fee in each academic year, the discount may be applied in every qualifying year.

Minimum English Test Score Requirements for Postgraduate Admission at Dundee in 2027

The University of Dundee does not prescribe one English score for every postgraduate programme; the exact requirement is stated on each course page and in the applicant’s offer letter. For many taught master’s courses, including International Business MSc, the minimum scores are:

2. Confirm that its tuition fee is at least £22,250.
3. Submit the course application with your final transcript, degree certificate and required admission documents.
4. Monitor eVision for an offer, document request and University of Dundee Global Postgrad scholarship decision.
5. Check that the £8,000 award appears in your scholarship confirmation before planning your finances.

How Does Automatic Scholarship Consideration Work?

First, apply for an eligible January 2027 master’s and upload complete academic evidence. Admissions reviews your course application to decide whether your achieved qualification meets the first-class-equivalent threshold. If eligible, Dundee communicates the scholarship decision through its eVision applicant portal.

Predicted grades are insufficient. If your final result was pending when you applied, the university cannot confirm the award until it receives and verifies the completed qualification. Upload the final transcript and degree certificate promptly; there is no advantage in waiting for a separate scholarship form because none exists.

Why Applications Miss the Award?

Common problems include choosing an online or lower-fee course, submitting predicted rather than final results, failing to meet Dundee’s first-class equivalency, holding an incompatible scholarship, or leaving documents incomplete. Changing your programme or fee status can also trigger reassessment and withdrawal of the award.
