Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for a scholarship, student-athletes must:
- Meet the criteria of the Breakthrough Programme & Sport Scholarship Specific Criteria
- Be completing a minimum of 30 credits at the University of Bath
- Not be serving a period of ineligibility due to an anti-doping rule violation
- Have a clean conduct record per Student Regulation 7 – Disciplinary Regulations for Students

- Complete the online form for the Breakthrough Programme here.
- Indicate your interest in a Sport Scholarship by selecting “Yes” to question number 14 on the form.
Selection Process:
- Shortlisting based on criteria and supporting statements.
- Informal interviews with the Performance Sport Officer and Head of Performance Sport in the week commencing 7th October 2024.
- Final selection panel meets before the end of October, comprising key university and sports officials.
