Polish Government NAWA-ULAM Fully-funded Scholarships 2025

The Polish National Agency for Academic Exchange (NAWA) has officially launched the call for applications for the Ulam NAWA 2025 programme, offering distinguished foreign researchers the opportunity to conduct research in Poland. Now in its seventh edition, this flagship initiative is designed to enhance the internationalisation of Polish universities and scientific institutions by attracting top global talent.

Programme Overview

The Ulam NAWA programme is open to international researchers from various academic disciplines, providing them with financial support and a chance to collaborate with Polish research institutions. The programme aims to facilitate knowledge exchange, postdoctoral research, and material acquisition for future publications.

NAWA-ULAM Scholarship Programme Benefits

Selected researchers for NAWA Ulam scholarship 2025 will receive:

  • Financial support of PLN 11,500 per month.
  • A one-time arrival allowance to cover travel expenses.
  • A family allowance for those traveling with dependents.
  • The opportunity to conduct research, participate in postdoctoral fellowships, and gather material for scientific publications.
  • A research residency duration ranging from 6 to 24 months.

Eligibility Criteria

Eligible applicants must:

  • Hold a doctoral degree in any field of study.
  • Be an experienced researcher looking to collaborate with Polish scientific institutions.
  • Have a research plan aligned with the goals of the Ulam NAWA programme.

Additionally, researchers who have received a Seal of Excellence certificate from the Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions Postdoctoral Fellowships programme can also apply, as NAWA recognises this certificate as a mark of application quality.
