UTS Chancellor’s Research & Indigenous Research Fellowships 2026

The University of Technology Sydney (UTS) has officially opened Expressions of Interest (EOI) for its prestigious Chancellor’s Research Fellowship (CRF) and Chancellor’s Indigenous Research Fellowship (CIRF) for the 2026 academic year. These highly competitive and career-defining fellowships are aimed at empowering outstanding early career researchers to take the next leap in academia and leadership.

What’s on Offer?

  • UTS Chancellor’s Research Fellowship (CRF): Designed for outstanding early career researchers from any discipline, this program supports individuals who show exceptional promise in becoming future academic leaders.
  • UTS Chancellor’s Indigenous Research Fellowship (CIRF): Specifically targets early career researchers of Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander descent, offering tailored support to elevate Indigenous leadership in research and higher education.

Who Can Apply?
