Application Dates

The application process for Global Talent Ireland 2025 is a two-step journey, so timing is everything. It kicks off with the Expression of Interest (EoI) stage, where your host research body must submit your details by 28 August 2025 at 13:00 (Dublin local time) — miss this, and you’re out of the race.

If your EoI is approved, you’ll be invited to the Full Proposal stage, which is due in October 2025 (final date to be confirmed). Only those with a successful EoI can proceed, so securing your host institution’s commitment early is crucial. The review process involves both an international expert peer review and an interview with a multidisciplinary panel, meaning you’ll need to be prepared to impress on paper and in person.
