Who Can Apply?

To be eligible for the Green Futures’ Postgraduate Taught Scholarship 2025/26, you must:

  • Be classified as an International student for fee purposes
  • Hold citizenship or a passport from a Low or Lower Middle Income Country (check the list here)
  • Have received an offer of admission for one of the eligible postgraduate programs at the University of Exeter for the 2025/26 academic year (September 2025 entry)
  • Possess (or expect to achieve) a UK first-class equivalent in your undergraduate degree
  • Have never previously studied or worked in a High-Income Country.

Eligible Postgraduate Programs

The scholarship applies to one-year, full-time, campus-based Master’s programs in the Faculty of Environment, Science, and Economy and these include:

  • MSc Applied Data Science (Environment & Sustainability)
  • MSc Conservation and Biodiversity
  • MSc Sustainable Business Management (including Environment and Tourism pathways)
  • MSc Applied Data Science (Renewable Energy)
  • MSc Global Sustainability Solutions
  • MSc Construction Design Management
  • MSc Geographical Information Science
  • MSc Weather and Climate Science
  • MSc Evolutionary and Behavioral Ecology
  • MSc Mining Environmental Management
  • MSc Renewable Energy Engineering
  • MSc Sustainable Development.

The application deadline for the master’s program is 29 March 2025, and applicants are encouraged to apply early to secure their offer. The deadline for the scholarship application is 30 April 2025, with final decision notifications released by 16 June 2025.
