Eligibility

To qualify for the scholarship, applicants must meet the following criteria:

    • Chinese Language Study: Minimum HSK Level 3 score of 210, with priority for those with an HSKK score.

One-Semester Study: (TCSOL & Chinese Language and Literature) Minimum HSK Level 3 score of 180, with an HSKK score.

Four-Week Study: (Chinese Language Study) HSK score required. Group applications from recommending institutions with 10-15 participants are encouraged.

  4. Review and Recommendation: Recommending institutions review and recommend qualified applicants to Hainan University.
  5. University Review: Hainan University examines applications and conducts pre-admissions.
  6. Expert Panel Review: CLEC entrusts an expert panel to review applications based on HSK and HSKK scores, country distribution, and other factors.
  7. Admission Notice: Successful applicants will receive an Admission Notice and other materials for admission.
  8. Registration: Scholarship holders must register at Hainan University on the specified date and time.
