Eligibility Criteria
To be considered for the JJ/WBGSP scholarship, applicants must meet the following eligibility requirements:
- Nationality: Be a national of a World Bank member country that is listed as eligible (Annex 1 of the guidelines). Dual citizenship holders of developed countries are not eligible.
- Professional Experience: Be employed in a full-time, paid position related to development at the time of the application and have at least three years of paid development-related work experience acquired after obtaining a bachelor’s degree. Employment must have occurred within the past six years.
- Educational Background: Hold a bachelor’s degree or equivalent obtained at least three years before the application deadline.
- Admissions: Have unconditional acceptance (except for funding) into a master’s program that is part of the JJ/WBGSP participating programs and is outside the applicant’s home country or country of residence.
- World Bank Employees: Not be an Executive Director, staff, or close relative of an individual working at the World Bank Group in any capacity.
