Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for the UEG Research Fellowship, applicants must:
- Be a myUEG Associate.
- Be clinical or basic researchers specializing in digestive diseases.
- Have completed their PhD within the last five years, or be in gastroenterology/hepatology/surgery training, or have completed it within the last five years (an additional two years per child for the main carer, up to a maximum of four years, is allowed).
- Not hold a permanent academic position.
- Have significant research experience.
- Be fluent in English.
- Reside in Europe, a country bordering the Mediterranean Sea, or a country represented by a UEG National Member Society.
