University of Wollongong Elevate STEM Scholarship 2025

The University of Wollongong, in partnership with the Australian Academy of Technological Sciences & Engineering (ATSE), is offering the Elevate STEM Scholarship for women and non-binary individuals commencing their studies in 2025. This scholarship aims to boost gender equity in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) fields by providing financial support, professional development, and leadership opportunities.

What the Elevate Program Offers

The Elevate program is designed to empower women and non-binary people in STEM by offering a comprehensive support package that includes:

  • Scholarship Funding: Financial assistance to support your studies.
  • Events and Networking Opportunities: Access to exclusive events to connect with industry leaders and peers.
  • Mentoring: Personalized guidance from experienced STEM professionals.
  • Wellbeing Support: Resources to support your mental and emotional wellbeing during your studies.

Eligibility Criteria

To apply for the Elevate STEM Scholarship, you must meet the following criteria:

  1. Identify as a woman or non-binary person.
  2. Be planning to undertake a STEM degree or higher studies in business acumen, starting in 2025.

ATSE encourages applications from diverse backgrounds, including Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander individuals, those from regional or remote areas, culturally diverse backgrounds, low-socioeconomic backgrounds, and individuals with disabilities.
