The Ivy May Pendelbury Scholarships aim to support students who are financially challenged to start or continue their studies at the Melbourne Conservatorium of Music, Faculty of Fine Arts and Music. Approximately five scholarships are available, with a single payment ranging from $5,000 to $20,000, depending on the annual income received.

Eligibility: Candidates must be undergraduate or graduate students of good character at the Melbourne Conservatorium of Music and members of the Church of England, facing financial difficulties in continuing their studies.

Selection Criteria: Applicants will be assessed based on artistic merit, academic achievement, career aspirations, financial need, and the likelihood of completing the proposed course of study.

2# Hiller Italian Art History Scholarship 2024

This Hiller Italian Art & Histroy scholarship supports a Doctor of Philosophy – Arts student traveling to Italy or another European country for study or research related to Italian Art History between 1250-1650. A single payment of up to $15,000 is offered.

Eligibility: PhD students enrolled in the Faculty of Arts with research related to Italian Art History between 1250-1650 and planning overseas research travel are eligible to apply.

Selection Criteria: The award will be granted based on the overseas research’s relevance, the proposed study program’s quality and feasibility, academic merit, and the applicant’s ability to carry out the proposed project.
