Zhejiang University of Technology (ZJUT) Scholarship 2025 Open

re you passionate about Chinese language and culture? Dreaming of becoming a certified Chinese language teacher and gaining professional experience abroad? The International Chinese Language Teachers Scholarship 2025 is your golden ticket — and guess what? It’s fully funded!

Offered by the Center for Language Education and Cooperation (CLEC), this scholarship supports international students and in-service teachers who want to pursue Chinese language studies or teaching degrees in China. If that sounds like you, then Zhejiang University of Technology (ZJUT) is welcoming applications for the September 2025 intake — and it’s time to make your move!

Sponsorship Package of ZJUT Scholarship

Selected students will receive full tuition fee coverage, free on-campus accommodation (or a living allowance of RMB 700/month if approved to live off-campus), a monthly living stipend of RMB 3,000 for Master’s students and RMB 2,500 for one-year and one-semester program students, and comprehensive medical insurance. The insurance premium is RMB 800 per year for programs exceeding one year and RMB 400 for one-semester students.

Who Can Apply?

If you check off the following, you’re eligible:

  • A non-Chinese citizen aged between 16 and 35 (or up to 45 if you’re an in-service Chinese language teacher)
  • In good health, with a clean academic and legal record
  • Genuinely interested in Chinese language education
  • Respectful of Chinese laws and school rule.

Application Deadline

The application process for the International Chinese Language Teachers Scholarship 2025 at Zhejiang University of Technology begins already and applicants must complete their application on ZJUT’s portal by May 5, 2025, and submit their final application via the official CIS website by May 15, 2025.
