Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for the A*STAR International Fellowship, applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Citizenship: Singaporeans or Singapore Permanent Residents (SPR). Non-SPRs with outstanding track records may be considered exceptionally. Non-Singaporeans must obtain Singapore citizenship before the fellowship starts.
- PhD Completion: Completed a PhD within the last four years.
- Publication Record: Possess excellent publication records.
- Bond Status: No existing bonds to any institution.
- Post-Doctoral Position: Applied or applying for a relevant post-doctoral position at a top overseas university/laboratory.
Application Process

Interview Process
- Shortlisted candidates will undergo two rounds of interviews.
- Only shortlisted applicants will be notified of interview details.
Result Announcement
- First Cycle: Successful candidates notified from mid-June.
- Second Cycle: Successful candidates notified from December.
