Eligibility Criteria
- Applicants must be non-Chinese citizens. Chinese nationals who have emigrated and wish to return as international students need to have held foreign nationality for at least 4 years, with a 2-year residence abroad within the last 4 years.
- Physical and mental health in line with China’s and FAFU’s requirements is mandatory. Applicants with serious mental disorders or infectious diseases will not be admitted.
- For master’s degree applications, candidates need a bachelor’s degree and should be under 35 years of age. Doctoral candidates require a master’s degree and must be under 40 years of age.
- Language proficiency is key. Non-native English speakers applying for English-taught programs must have at least 6.5 in IELTS or 85 in TOEFL. For Chinese-taught programs, an HSK-5 certificate is necessary.
- Applicants must have a clean criminal record, respect Chinese laws, customs, and be friendly towards China.
