Eligibility Criteria

Applicants must be non-Chinese citizens. Chinese nationals who have emigrated and wish to return as international students need to have held foreign nationality for at least 4 years, with a 2-year residence abroad within the last 4 years.
Physical and mental health in line with China’s and FAFU’s requirements is mandatory. Applicants with serious mental disorders or infectious diseases will not be admitted.
For master’s degree applications, candidates need a bachelor’s degree and should be under 35 years of age. Doctoral candidates require a master’s degree and must be under 40 years of age.
Language proficiency is key. Non-native English speakers applying for English-taught programs must have at least 6.5 in IELTS or 85 in TOEFL. For Chinese-taught programs, an HSK-5 certificate is necessary.
Applicants must have a clean criminal record, respect Chinese laws, customs, and be friendly towards China.
