• Meet LSHTM’s minimum English language requirements.
• Possess a first or upper second-class honours undergraduate degree, or an equivalent international qualification.
• Hold an offer of admission for 2024-25 for an LSHTM full-time, one-year, London-based MSc program.

English language requirements:

The LSHTM Fund Scholarship for 2024 emphasizes the importance of English language proficiency for its applicants. To comply with UK Home Office regulations and academic requirements, candidates must demonstrate a higher level of English than the CEFR B2 minimum. Accepted tests include the IELTS Academic and Pearson PTE Academic. Specific score requirements vary depending on the program’s band level:

• Band A: IELTS 7.5 overall (7.0 in each component) or Pearson PTE Academic 80 overall (80 in each component).
• Band B: IELTS 7.0 overall (6.5 in each component) or Pearson PTE Academic 76 overall (76 in each component).
• Band C: IELTS 6.5 overall (6.0 in each component) or Pearson PTE Academic 59 overall (59 in each component).
