It’s important to note that while scholarships can cover tuition and fees, students will be responsible for other expenses such as admission, housing application, and enrollment confirmation fees.

NAU offers several scholarship categories based on academic merit for both U.S. residents and international students. These NAU scholarships range from $3,000 to $22,000, depending on the scholarship type and the student’s academic achievements.


1# Scholarships for U.S. Residents

Academic merit scholarships for U.S. residents are available in several tiers, from the Foundation Scholarship at $3,000 to the NAU Scholarship at $8,000. Eligibility is based on GPA and SAT/ACT scores, with renewal requirements ranging from a CGPA of 2.25 to 3.75.

International students have access to similar academic merit scholarships, with amounts significantly higher to support their studies. These range from the Foundation Scholarship at $12,000 to the NAU Scholarship at $22,000. Additionally, Academic Excellence Awards and Exceptional Merit Scholarships (EMS) are available, offering financial support based on academic performance, community service, and leadership activities.
