These prestigious programs aim to foster leadership, innovation, and development within the global credit union movement, offering unique opportunities for women and young professionals to excel in their careers.
GWLN Scholarship: Empowering Women Leaders
The Global Women’s Leadership Network (GWLN) Scholarship is designed to empower female professionals in the global credit union industry. This annual program provides up to five recipients with an all-inclusive trip to the 2025 World Credit Union Conference (WCUC) in Stockholm, Sweden, from July 14–16, 2025.
Benefits of the GWLN Scholarship:
- Travel Coverage: Includes airfare, hotel accommodations, and registration fees.
- Professional Development: Scholars will attend the 2025 GWLN Forum, breakout sessions, and interactive events, enhancing their leadership and industry expertise.
- Global Networking: Opportunities to connect with Sister Society leaders, GWLN supporters, and attendees from around the world.
Since its inception in 2009, the GWLN Scholarship has supported 104 women from 33 countries, helping them develop leadership skills and build valuable global connections.
WYCUP Scholarship: Opportunities for Young Professionals
The World Young Credit Union Professionals (WYCUP) Scholarship aims to connect young professionals (aged 40 and under) with global career-building opportunities.
Recipients can choose between two transformative experiences:
- Sicredi Study Tour in Brazil (April 2025)
- 2025 World Credit Union Conference (WCUC) in Stockholm, Sweden.
