Eligibility Requirements

To be eligible for the Stokes Undergraduate Scholarship, applicants must meet the following criteria:

    • Age: At least 18 years of age by September 15 of the application year.
    • Education: Acceptance to or current enrollment in an accredited 4-year college/university as a full-time student, with at least 12 credits per semester.
    • GPA: A minimum GPA of 3.0 on a 4-point scale.
    • Financial Need: Demonstrated financial need with an adjusted gross annual household income up to $120,000. For applicants not listed as a dependent, the ceiling is $50,000.
    • Availability: Ability to work two 90-day tours is preferred; at least one 90-day tour is required.
    • Security and Medical Evaluations: Must be able to complete the necessary evaluations and be registered for Selective Service if applicable.
